Choosing a graphics card
Match it to your monitor
1080p: an RTX 5060 class card. 1440p: an RTX 5070 or 5070 Ti. 4K: an RTX 5080 or 5090.
Check the power supply
Check the card's recommended wattage and connectors. Newer cards use a 12V-2x6 connector, and an old power supply may need replacing.
Check the case clearance
Large cards can be over 330mm long and take three or more slots. Measure your case before ordering.
Will your CPU keep up?
A fast GPU in an old system can be held back by the CPU. Send us your specs and we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth it.
